Stanford has negotiated with Dell to supply desktop and laptop bundles at specially discounted prices for both departmental and personal purchases. If the bundles don’t suit your needs, you can still get special, low Stanford pricing when ordering from Dell’s special online store for Stanford. Stanford University partners with suppliers in an effort to offer products for departmental purchase at the lowest total cost. To take advantage of these savings, order through the University’s iProcurement process (via the Buying and Paying) web pages at fingate.stanford.edu. The Stanford Bookstore Computer Department sells a wide array of computer products to Stanford students, faculty, staff, and departments at prices often below standard academic discounts. Even better deals are available on discontinued products, sales floor demos, and “opened boxes” and, by request, the store can negotiate special software licenses for University departments. The Bookstore is also a manufacturer-authorized repair and upgrade service center.
