Iron Mountain/Connected PC Backup Service

Overview
Stanford has contracted for discounted, off-site desktop backup service (32-bit Windows systems only) with Iron Mountain/Connected for current University faculty, students, and staff (including Hospital employees). Called PC Vaulting, the service is subject to the terms and conditions of Iron Mountain/Connected. For questions about existing service or technical issues, please call the vendor at 1 (800) 888-2774 [option 6].
Note: Information Technology Services does not install or support Iron Mountain/Connected or other third party backup software unless the computer is covered by Contract Support or OnCall Services.
Department or Group Option
Features
- 10 GB with backup, retrieve, heal, iRoam
- 10 or more desktops (Windows only) in a group
- Payment by PO, RPO, P-Card or credit card; monthly or annually
- Unlimited technical support from Iron Mountain
- Discount available for annual subscriptions
Cost
- $12/month per desktop, up to 10 GB; additional $3 per GB per month over the 10 GB limit
Signing up
To get started, please send the information below to brian.mccann@ironmountain.com.
- Name of the account (e.g., School of Engineering).
- Primary address for the account.
- Primary contact name, phone number, email address (and a good time for phone contact by Iron Mountain/Connected technician).
- Planned number of systems to be backed up (start with ten or more; additional systems can be added).
- Billing name and address.

- Selected Data Backup (your My Documents Folder, up to 200 MB) Annual Billing Plan for $49.95 annual fee.
- Premium Data Backup I [4GB] Monthly Billing Plan for $9.95/month.
- Premium Data Backup II [4GB] Annual Plan for $114.95/year.
