Visitor Information

Visitor Information Services welcomes more than 150,000 visitors to campus annually and provides information about the university and the surrounding area. They can help you plan a guided tour and answer your questions about visiting Stanford's beautiful 8,200 acre campus.

Maps, Directions and Parking

If you are arriving by car, via public transportation or from the airport, maps and directions are available, and visitor parking is located at various spots around campus. Stanford's Marguerite shuttle provides free transport to and from Caltrain and around campus. Finally, the searchable campus map allows visitors to locate particular buildings.

Events at Stanford

Find details about upcoming events on campus in the Events at Stanford calendar. You can search for a specific event or browse the listings by date or category. A list of individual departmental calendars is also available.

Eating and Shopping at Stanford

The campus offers a wide range of dining options, from coffee and pastries to fine organic cuisine. For shoppers, there are several locations around campus and online where you can purchase Stanford merchandise.

Parents

Parents of Stanford students will find special publications, news about upcoming events, information on organizations and activities, and other online resources in the Parents' Website. Many visit campus during Parents' Weekend, an annual two-day event with programs and activities designed especially for Stanford parents.

Neighbors

The Neighbors website helps make Stanford more accessible to neighboring communities by providing, among other things, Medical Center information, lists of programs for area teachers and children and explanations of Stanford-related issues important to the community.
