SULAIR's collection spans the full spectrum of materials, from antiquarian manuscripts to electronic journals, from newspapers to online databases, from sheet music to LPs to DVDs. The printed collection of books, manuscripts, scores, and printed reference works is approaching 9 million volumes, and the collection also includes 1.5 million audiovisual materials (including approximately 300,000 cartographic holdings and more than 360,000 items in the Archive of Recorded Sound), subscriptions to more than 82,000 current serials and hundreds of online databases, and make a wide variety of digital materials.
