The last page of the 1903 publication of W.B. Yeats's In the Seven Woodsshows a colophon typical of Elizabeth Yeats. In red, the colophon dates the publication by characterizing 1903 as the year of the big wind (Figure 2). This final page of Elizabeth Yeats's first publication is the origin of James Joyce's satiric lines in Ulysses: "Five lines of text and ten pages of notes about the folk and and the fishgods of Dundrum. Printed by the weird sisters in the year of the big wind."
