* Introduction to Buddhism - The Lotus Sutra   

 

     Lotus Sutra was a record of Shakyamuni's final eight years of teaching. Lotus flower is unique in the sense that it grows out of muddy ponds and develops its flowers and seeds at the same time. The Sutra as named symbolizes the existence of Buddhahood in all sort of circumstances and the simultaneity of cause and effect. We will cover concepts including the eternity of life, the inherent Buddha nature of each individuals and the value of humanity

 

The meeting is on the introductory level and suited everyone without any basic knowledge in Buddhism.
