The Nine Consciousnesses
- an introduction to Buddhism
|
 |
Have
you ever wondered why we are able to see, hear, smell, taste
and touch ? Do our mental pictures correspond
faithfully to
physical realities that we perceive ? .. then what is dream ? ..
or why we can sense our own existence ?
What
would happen to our
"Self" when we die ? Is there "after-life"
?
Have you ever repeatedly run into certain mistakes that seem
hopelessly unable to be rectified ? Have you ever questioned why two lives collide as if pre-arranged but
bitterly parted in the end. Are these all pure chance or fated ?
or can we control our destiny ?
Come to explore what is behind the veil of consciousness:
The "Nine Consciousnesses" - the Buddhist theory
in explaining the nature of our lives with identification of
consciousness in nine levels.
