Come join the fun and Unlock Your Infinite Potential!
You are cordially invited to the first Peace and Culture Festival hosted by the SJSU SOKA Lions Buddhist for Peace Club and local Buddhist practitioners of SGI-USA. The festival will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Morris Dailey Auditorium at San José State University.
An afternoon of music and cultural perforamances, by local buddhist practitioners, plus introduction to Buddhist theories, and experiences of practicing members. It is a good opportunity to learn and to feel the power of Buddhist practice. Let's come to experience the dynamics and wonder of life and to unlock our infinite potential..
Based on the theme "Unlock Your Infinite Potential," the festival will showcase the cultural richness that exists in Silicon Valley with multi-cultural performances prepared by local volunteers.

Performances will include:
- Hawaiian, Latin, Korean, Japanese, Indian, Filipiino, Chinese, and Men's Fan dances
- African Drummers
- Spoken Word performance
- An original song by the New Century Chorus
- Opera and Piano performances
Special guest will include mayors, and civic leaders throughout Silicon Valley.
