- Theme: "Be the Master of Our Mind: Buddhist Application in Daily Life" (flyer)
What does it mean to be the "master" of our mind? How do we define "mind", and how does this apply to Buddhism and the reality of our lives? Nichiren Buddhism explains how this intriguing concept helps us lead a more fulfilled and joyful existence. Its ultimate goal is for us to better understand ourselves and the environment around us. Please join us for an enlightened and spirited discussion on the true meaning of this concept.
"A passage in the Six Paramitas Sutra says to become the master of your mind rather than let your mind master you." (p.486, The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin)
