New Template Versions -- March 12, 2007
There are currently 5 template styles available to download. All templates use CSS for page layout. Each has a design similar to the Stanford homepage, but varies in the way navigation and content are displayed. These templates are provided to help promote a common look and feel among Stanford websites and to assist department webmasters with the design process. Each can be downloaded below in an individual bundled file (ZIP format), including Dreamweaver templates, stylesheet, sample pages, Photoshop files for generating custom GIFS, and a README file.
This template has horizontal navigation and a right sidebar allows you flexibility to highlight links and other content.
This template has horizontal HTML text navigation and a left column which can be used to display second-level navigation.
This template has a photo or a Stanford S in the upper left hand corner.You can choose to make the vertical navigation from HTML text or GIF images. Samples of this format include Events at Stanford and Searching Stanford.
This template has vertical navigation and is an excellent choice for a simple departmental or office website.
