Russia: Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) receives Peace Award


Jon Kofas writes: On 10 November 2004, Mikhail Gorbachev presented Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) with the 2004 Peace Award at the fifth annual Nobel Peace Summit in Rome, Italy. I wonder what signals this sends to the world and to U.S.?
