Cuba: US Invasion

Tim Ashby answers the question: "What would happen if the US invaded Cuba?":I have a close Cuban friend in London who is the well-educated son of a very senior official in the Castro regime and has always enjoyed a privileged lifestyle.  My friend is an ardent capitalist and speaks disparagingly of Fidel.  However, this man stated that he - and other children of the nomenklatura - would take arms to resist a US invasion.
