Even after the telethon fund-raiser for families of the Saudi suicide bombers (in Saudi Arabia!) no one has wanted to pay attention. Oh well. Saudi visitors do not tell him the truth when they visit Mr Bush in the US (no kidding). Saudi Arabia is the most fundamentalist Muslim nation on the planet--they're keepers of the Kaa'ba, after all, and the US refuses to understand the significance of this"

My comment: I think informed Americans are well aware of this. The problem is that Saudi Arabia, which has modern trappings, is our ally, while Iran, a much more important and modern country, is part of the Axis of Evil.
