     "Can anyone give me a picture of Philippine politics in a nutshell? I get letters from a priest working there with farmers in the lowland areas. He says there are guerillas that make life pretty difficult for people, especially anyone trying to help improve the lives of the poor."
     My response: There is at least one WAISer in the Philippines. I suggest they get in touch with Marta.
