NEW ZEALAND: The Hayward case

German historian Christian was directly involved in the case of the New Zealand historian Hayward, whose writings about the Holocaust angered the Jewish community there. He rejected the comments of Christopher Jones, who replies "Just as I wrote in the posting, I was not at all familiar with the Hayward case. While I simply said that these cases of official Jewish bullying are numerous, as usual, Christian Leitz has revealed himself a loyal soldier in the suppression of dissent and the pursuit of truth. If he admits membership of the inquisition that was described in the attachment (that only recites procedure and not substance,) I am shocked. The attachment does not provide any quotes from Hayward's thesis and does not underscore errors of fact. I repeat: it lists apologies and procedure -- it almost sounds like the trial of Michel Servet. His posting has only served to confirm my suspicions that Hayward was just another victim of Shoah business. Until somebody can provide hard evidence in the form of a quote from the thesis, in my mind Hayward is innocent until proven guilty".

RH: Both sides have been heard, and enough is enough. There are other WAISers in New Zealand who might be able to present an impartial view. "Shoah" is the Hebrew word for the Holocaust.
