Class action suite against Microsoft
Martin Packard asks:
"Perhaps one of the WAIS correspondents and tort experts can shed some light on why Microsoft has not been faced with a class action suite to "make whole" the millions of consumers who have been damaged by a faulty design of a monopolistic product You have been concerned about SPAM produced by marketers, but the SOBIG virus does even more damage by overloading the e-mail system. I see no way that legislation will solve the problem"RH:
I feel sorry for Microsoft It as as though someone exploded a bomb in a theater. The theater owner was not to blame. but that would not stop lawsuits.-Individuals who deliberately introduce a virus into a computer network can I believe be sued under prsent legislation.Ronald Hilton - 08.22.03
