Robert Gard says; "When the situation is relatively calm, there is very little western concern as the Israelis expand their settlements in the west bank. Palestinian objections are generally ignored. When the Israelis assassinate terrorist suspects with US equipment, Palestinian anger and resentment increases against the US, as well as Israel. What defenses do the Palestinians have? How can they make their case other than by suicide bombers? Will it come as a surprise if Palestinian suicide bombers attack the US?"
