ISRAEL: The Palestinians



Steve Torok served as a UN negotiations consultant. He writes: "The lack of long-term views on Jerusalem must be criticized, as well as the lack of imagination for alternative outcomes. How about a "Jerusalem Federation" with a Washington, D.C. type federal status for Jerusalem, with "state" capitals, respectively, in Tel Aviv and Gaza?"

My comment: It makes sense, but for that very reason would probably not be adopted.
