FRANCE: Morris on food
Christopher Jones says: "Morris wrote, "The global epicenter for serious cooking has arguably shifted to California, influenced by Asian spices, while Italian and California wines increasingly equal or exceed French in quality and sales." This statement is crazy and a sort of thinly disguised plaidoyer for GM food. In other words, he tries to convey the message that everything made in the US has surpassed and conquered everything from France. This sort of bunk should not appear on WAIS".RH: I agree with the statement, and the international prizes won by California wines prove that the claim for them is neither crazy nor bunk, I cannot see how all this can be interpreted as propaganda for GM food, unless one sees GM food under every bed.
