FRANCE: Expulsions of Africans
From France, Christopher Jones calls attention to this article in Le Monde http://www.lemonde.fr/article/0,5987,3226--311549-,00.html, with the comment:"As Jacques Chirac spoke of a historic reconciliation with Algeria, his government was organizing the expulsion of 54 illegal aliens aboard a charter flight. For French readers, the attached article describes the events of that past few hours". RH: The article speaks of widespread indignation, but I am sure that many people, including Christopher, were nor indignant. Those being expelled were black Africans, so it did not affect the more troublesome Arabs. Several countries, primarily France and Germany, are organizing joint charter flights to expel illegal aliens. Will the scheme now be applied to Arabs, Turks, etc? As reported in the posting on Mugabe in Paris, Chirac is trying to make all black Africa francophile. President Bush has taken measures to isolate Zimbabwe, proof that the US know what is going on. How will the expulsion of blacks affect Chirac's pan-African plan?
