EUROPE: The Euro

Christopher Jones, who lives in Germany, says: "I can only applaud George Sassoon's subscription to a No-Euro bulletin. Bravo! If Europeans had only been given the choice -- nobody in his right mind today would vote to introduce this Mickey Mouse currency. (the so called forgery proof money was revealed to be the easiest to copy -- despite all sorts of trumpeted security measures)

All over Europe where the Euro was introduced 1 for 2 old currency (Germany and Italy) there has been a wild inflation -- simply converting one for one. But the princes who govern these countries in the name of democracy love to lie their way forward, claiming of course that there is no inflation: Maybe there is no inflation for those who live without paying rent, with no heat, naked and starving. Even in France, whose government tried to control prices when the Euro was introduced, the consumer associations admit that inflation has way surpassed 5%.

This is yet another example of the fraud of European "so-called" democracy better said cleptocracy or media-ocracy: the politicians who rule Europe love having their own way, cloaking themselves with fancy words like "leadership" and "European ideals" when all they want is your hard earned money. Beware!!"

RH: I was astounded by the vehemence of this missive, especially since it comes from some one living in Germany. Does is reflect the nostalgia of old Germans for the deutschmark? The euro is here to stay, and the confusion caused by the switch over from the old currencies will fade away. A generation is growing up fir whom the old currencies will be history. England is a special case, since some propose that the UK join NAFTA.
