EUROPE and Immigration

A posting said that the immigrants to Europe who assimilate best come from Christian countries like the Philippines and other Pacific islands. As an important part of culture, religion does matter, and civic peace is important. John Heelan comments "Filipino immigrants are minuscule in number compared with Asian and Afro-Caribbean immigrants in the UK now in their third generation of being UK citizens". RH: Of course. My impression is that those who assimilate least well are the Arabs in France and the Pakistanis in the UK. I suppose there are some statistics on this.
