UK: Tanks at Heathrow

From the UK, George Sassoon writes: "As a result of unspecified "intelligence", Mr Blair has deployed tanks around the passenger terminals at London's Heathrow airport. One wonders what purpose these will serve in the event of a suicide bomb attack, apart from protecting the persons inside the tanks. Clearly, the object is to provoke panic in the populace and support for the Iraq war". RH: Is this the motivation for the terrorist orange warning in the US?
