Columbia and Ecuador
Colombian violence is well-planned. Two hundred electric pylons had been blown up to cause the blackout in an important part of the country. The resulting chaos was what the wreckers wanted. It coincided with trouble in Ecuador. While Secretary of State Madeleine Albright was in Cartagena, the Ecuadorean government pushed its plan to solve its currency instability with dollarization. Street changers began exchanging dollars for sucres. Thus Ecuador would be tied more closely to the United States.
This provoked widespread disorders in Quito, led by Indians who had proclaimed the government of the Indian nation. They were joined by university students, in a combination similar to the one which brought chaos to Mexico. There is clearly a plan to bring chaos to "Indoamerica," but who is pulling the strings?Ronald Hilton - 1/19/00
