The Vancouver Library has become the first library in the world to install NewspaperDirect's print-on-demand newspaper service, which
initially will offer patrons a selection of seven international newspapers. Newspapers are laser printed in 11" x 17" format using industry
standard equipment, and the whole process takes less than five minutes. More than 150 newspaper publishers send files to NewspaperDirect
daily, enabling users to access out-of-town papers on the same day they're published. The service is available at more than 300 locations
