Robert Eberhart is an Executive in Residence at Pacific Rim Partners, a San Francisco and Tokyo based private investment firm. He was formerly the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of WineInStyle KK in Tokyo, Japan. WineInStyle, along with its wholly owned subsidiary in the USA, markets California wines to the Japanese, Taiwanese and other Asian markets.

Prior to founding WineInStyle, Mr. Eberhart was an executive with semiconductor and electronics hardware companies in California’s “Silicon Valley”. He served as President of Plantronics KK in Tokyo. Before that, he had operations and quality responsibilities at Applied Materials and Performance Semiconductor.

Mr. Eberhart received his master’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1986. As an undergraduate, he studied Finance at Michigan State University. He is the recipient of awards and honors for contributions to growth management, for the creation of innovative manufacturing accreditation systems and he is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
