Course Maps

Packet pickup will be on the first floor of the Arrillaga Family Sports Center on Saturday, March 3 from 10AM-4PM.
NOTE: There will be NO race-day packet pickup!

Parking will be provided in the lots near the basketball arena on either side of Campus drive.

The swim course will consist of 4 laps around the perimeter of one of the olymipc size swimming pools.

The transition area is right next to the pool. All racers will have to complete the full circuit around the transition area. Racers may mount bikes at the Mount/Dismount line. Helmets must be on and buckled before mounting the bike.
The bike course is a 20k route with small hills. It heads off campus to do a loop in the foothills southwest of campus. The on campus part is:
  1. Exit transition area, turn left on campus drive
  2. Turn left on Bowdin
  3. Turn right on Stanford Ave
  4. Turn left on Junipero Serra Blvd
The off-campus part of the bike course is
  1. Turn right on Page Mill
  2. Turn right on Arastradero
  3. Turn right on Alpine
  4. Turn right on Junipero Serra
  5. Turn left on Stanford Ave. NOTE: this is the most dangerous intersection of the course. The bike course crosses itself. The uphill (outbound) riders will be required to yeild to the downhill (inbound) riders.

Riders must dismount before the Mount/Dismount line. After returning to the transition area (all racers again must do a complete circuit through the transition area), racers begin the run course.
The run course is a 5K loop around the athletics fields. There will be three aid stations with water, located at approximately 0.8 miles, 1.7 miles, and 2.6 miles. The turn-by-turn route is:
  1. Exit transition area, turn right on Bonair Siding Rd
  2. Turn left on Campus Dr
  3. Turn left on Serra Dr
  4. Turn left on El Camino Real
  5. Turn left on Galvez St
  6. Cross Galvez (aid station #2), do a loop on the chip trail
  7. Return across Galvez (aid station #3), turn right
  8. Turn left on Campus Dr
  9. Turn left on Sam McDonald Rd
