Coming upTau Beta Pi annual egg dropEgg Drop is an engineering design challenge open to all Stanford students. The aim is deceptively simple – you need to design a device to protect a raw egg from cracking after a five-storey drop. $800 worth of prizes will be awarded! The event is on Saturday, May 17th. Basically it's a little tunic type thing that you wear over your gown. It's white with an orange bent on it. You can see it here: It's actually quite nice. If you want to wear one, you write us (Stanford Tau Beta Pi) a deposit check for $20, which is returned you when you return the stole. Or if you want to keep it, we will just cash your check.
