Classes and Milonga with Felipe Martinez!

WHEN: Friday, November 20th
WHERE: Toyon Hall Lounge, Stanford University

FALL 2009:


Tango classes with Ney and Jennifer!



Ney Melo and Jennifer Bratt will teach an 8-week series of lessons this fall, starting Monday, September 28th. No partner required, so all you need are a pair of shoes (dress shoes are preferable) and a passion for the tango! Make sure you invite your friends, too!

Cost:
$6/class for Stanford students, $30 for all eight weeks
$15/ class for non-students, $70 for all eight weeks

Discount for Intermediate Students taking both classes!
These reduced prices apply to the Beginners' class, only if you take both:
$4/class for Stanford students, $20 for all eight weeks. (i.e. $50 for both series) $8/class for non-students, $40 for all eight weeks. (i.e. $110 for both series)

Location:
The first class will be held at Havana Room in the Graduate Community Center at 750 Escondido Road, Stanford, CA
Subsequent classes will be held at Koret Pavillion, Hillel, 565 Mayfield Road, Stanford, CA. Go to this website and type in "Koret" to get directions. (It's at campus and mayfield, behind Hillel. http://campus-map.stanford.edu/ The lessons will be held in the dining room (we had a single lesson there last quarter), on the main floor of the building. There's lots of parking available if, when you turn off campus onto Mayfield toward Hillel/Koret, you keep following Mayfield around the bend. It's the same parking lot that you would have parked in if you were going to Bechtel.



Bi-weekly Wednesday Night Practilonga at the Coho!
Starting September 23rd, at the Coho, in Tresidder Union, 7-10pm!
(We're hosting this event once every two weeks this quarter, because we'll be organizing lots of excursions to other milongas in the off-weeks)
Food and drinks available for purchase. Check out the Coho's website! (Though their menu is quite incomplete. They also have beer and wine.):
