Notes on Classes:

**Beginners welcome - NO dance experience necessary at all.**
**No partner necessary**
**No preregistration**

Pay before or after class.
Sign up for the Stanford Tango Club e-mail list if you're not already on it. Either sign up at classes, or see below.

SHOES:
***Wear shoes that will stay on your feet and have flexible, non-sticky soles that allow you to pivot. Leather or suede soles are best.
Men, please wear shoes that are NOT oversized. A misplaced foot can hurt the followers foot/leg.
If you feel your partners shoes are inappropriate, politely declined to dance with them.
For the women, especially beginners, the best shoe has a low to medium heel and encases the foot, so your foot won't fall out while dancing. Sling-backs, clogs, and strapless slip-ons WILL fall off.
**PLEASE do NOT use powder for your shoes. The custodians may fine us if you do.**

What level am I?

For questions on classes, pricing etc. please contact the treasurer of the Stanford Tango Club, Tejas (rakshe AT stanford DOT edu).

Practicas

FREE practicas (practice sessions), as a complement to the classes are organized by the Stanford tango club.
Practice is essential to your improvement! Practicas provide you with an opportunity to accelerate your learning process, by practicing between classes in a friendly, informal, totally unintimidating atmosphere.
Open to everybody taking the classes and also to others willing to assist and enjoy the company of the others in their odyssey to learn Tango
