Diane is our ever cheerful and friendly president. A senior studying International Relations, Diane hails from Arlington Heights, Illinois. She is also a talented waltzer and enjoys running, hiking, pole vaulting, and gymnastics.
Kristen, aka Cashmaster K, was born to be a Swingkids treasurer. The lindy hop fit snugly with her past dance interests in ballet, tap, and jazz. A math major, Kristen keeps our club in great financial shape.
Jason is your DJ. Also resident teacher, entertainer, and, according to one Max L., a total badass.
David is not sketchy.
Gabe Takacs is one of our wonderful lindy instructors! He's been swinging on the streets since '99 and brings years of experience to many eager lindy learners. One can often find Gabe enjoying Solo Charleston and blues dancing too.
Andrea Wolf is one of our awesome lindy instructors! A regular at Swing Central in Redwood City, Andrea brings a lot of experience and understanding of lindy to our classes. She also has the rare ability and strength to fling men around in aerials.
As a research assistant at Stanford, Kim finds much free time to dance regularly at Lindy in White Plaza and off-campus swing venues as well as practice with the performance troupe, Double or Nothing. A super-planner, Kim also helps organize many Stanford dance events like Viennese Ball and Big Dance.
Joe Rabinoff, aka Gung-ho Joe, is quoted saying the following: "The lindy is a happy social dance. I like being happy, being social, and dancing. It's the perfect combination!"
Nina is a Product Design Junior from Saratoga, CA. She learned lindy the summer after her sophomore year, and has been dancing ever since.
Ellen thinks that a life without Lindy Hop is like a day without sunshine. She has a fierce passion for this dance, and wishes every day was a Lindy Hopping day!
