JETS (Junior Engineering Technical Society) Day is an annual event hosted for high school students around the bay area. This one-day event features the JETS TEAMS (Tests of Engineering, Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science) Competition, a two-part themed academic competition in which student teams apply their math and science skills to solve real-world problems. Teams of 4-8 members compete from different high schools for local, state, and national recognition. JETS Day at Stanford also aims to encourage participants to learn more about engineering by inviting speakers and presentations from the Stanford community.
