ACS Pubs to Visit Stanford on March 9th
Invitation for Younger Chemists to Participate in a Focus Group
Three focus groups will be held at the Swain Library next Monday, March 9th, at 10:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:30 pm. Each session will last an hour and snacks will be provided. Please let me know by noon Friday (3/6) if you are interested in attending a session. Dave Martinsen who works in Strategic Planning and Analysis in ACS Publications will be leading these sessions.
ACS is investigating emerging technologies on the Internet and their potential applications in the journal publication and delivery environment. As part of this study, ACS is looking at the strategies that younger chemists employ when navigating and using chemical literature on the Web, as well as other technologies they are using to carry out their scientific research.
