The Sexual Violence Advisory Board (SVAB) was convened in Fall 2005 by Vice Provost for Student Affairs Greg Boardman. The Board is charged with advising the Vice Provost on policies, protocols, programs, and services related to acts of campus sexual violence, including sexual assault, domestic violence, relationship violence, stalking, and other related acts.

The Sexual Violence Advisory Board membership represents a broad spectrum of students, staff and faculty, who offer expertise and interest in sexual violence related issues, such as prevention education, response, and reporting.

Special Note to Students
Most student members are nominated through the student nominations committee. The prerequisites are to successfully complete FEMST 138 and/or a full-day seminar during winter quarter. Contact nbaran@stanford.edu for more information.
