Medical Services at Vaden Health Center offers diagnosis, treatment, and referrals for medical complications of sexual assault, and for violence-related problems. Survivors are urged to seek appropriate medical evaluation as promptly as possible. Female clinicians are also available for evaluations and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (including HIV), and pregnancy.
Of the many services that the Vaden Health Center offers, the following deal with medical emergencies and issues related to sexual violence, abusive relationships, sexual health and personal well-being, including educational workshops and other preventative measures.
