Stanford Climate Change Campaign
Stanford University

The Stanford Climate Change Campaign, a project of Students for a Sustainable Stanford in conjunction with People for the American Way Foundation, Global Exchange, and other student groups, proposes that we at Stanford take the lead in caring for our planet.

We recognize Stanford's role as a leader in the fight against climate change. We insist that the university can only improve its research programs and its credibility as an institution by making a public commitment to lead the fight against global warming and reduce its own carbon footprint.

And we need your help to show Stanford that the Stanford community supports such a commitment. Check out the website, take action, and contact the climate crew directly if you'd like to take on more responsibility within the group.

"This is an enormous undertaking, but if we are to live on this planet in an environmentally sustainable way, if we are to leave something to be proud of for our children's children's children, we must begin. I believe that Stanford is uniquely positioned to lead the way and to make a difference in this worthwhile effort."
