Nationals, here we come!

As Superfly prepares for the National Championships in Ohio, let's take a look back at the stellar season that got us here.

In late March, Superfly traveled to Seattle for the Northwest Challenge, facing some of the top women's teams in the nation. The baby team, which was missing a number of players due to injuries, battled rain, wind, and cold to finish the weekend with a 3-4 record.

Superfly kicked off the series with Northern California Sectionals. With numerous Superfans there to cheer them on, Superfly dominated their pool on Saturday. On Sunday, they faced a fired up UC Davis team that took the series title on double game point.

At Regionals, Superfly looked to qualify for Nationals through the front door bracket with all of our players back on the field. In pool play, Superfly battled UCSB for first in the pool, losing in a close game, but winning their other games soundly. In the semifinals, Superfly brought the fire against UCLA to punch their ticket to Nationals and earn a trip to the finals against UCSB. Although Santa Barbara eventually won, Superfly didn't make it easy, with players stepping up to make huge plays that earned them the lead at points and took the game to double game point.

See the results section for more information on our season!

Shout out to the incredible Superfans who came out to cheer us on!

Superfly places 3rd at Stanford Invite

It was windy and rainy all weekend long, pausing only for the occasional rainbow. Despite the weather and several injuries. Superfly put together an impressive performance, finishing the weekend with a 6-2 record.

On Saturday, Superfly went undefeated! One of the highlights of the day was a tough win over University of Washington Element, 10-9. Superfly played strong defense, shutting down other teams, and on offense, no zone could stop us.

On Sunday, Superfly fought hard against Oregon Fugue, taking the game to double game point. Although we ultimately lost, our second place finish in our pool put us into the semifinals, where we faced off against Western Washington Chaos. Superfly struggled in the game, especially with the loss of captains Halsey Hoster and Jennie Lummis to injuries, and came up short. In the last game of the day however, Superfly rallied to beat UCF Sirens on double game point!

One Horse! War Horse! Superfly!
