Our free film series focuses on the comic potential in even the most desperate of situations. Stanford faculty and SST company members introduce our screenings of Big Business (Laurel and Hardy) and Dr. Strangelove (Stanley Kubrick), One, Two, Three (Billy Wilder), Duck Soup (Marx Brothers), Catch-22 (Mike Nichols), The Great Dictator (Charlie Chaplin), In Bruges (Martin McDonagh), and Seven Beauties (Lina Wertmuller). As in past summers, patrons will receive a brief filmography, prepared by SST expert Roselyn Hallett.
