Social Science Data and Software (SSDS) is a group within the Stanford University Libraries (SUL) that provides services and support to Stanford faculty, staff and students in the acquisition, curation, and preservation of social science data and the selection and use of quantitative (statistical) and qualitative analysis software. SSDS staff provide these services in a variety of ways that include consulting, workshops and help documentation. We are located in the Social Sciences Resource Center (SSRC) on the first floor of the Green Library Bing Wing.
Walk-in Consulting Schedule: Finals Week, Intersession & Winter Close
December 9-13 and 16-20: No Walk-in hours. Limited consulting is available during finals and intersession. Please contact us with your your questions. The Velma Denning Room hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; Closed Sat/Sun
December 23-January 5: Winter Close. SSDS email and in-person consulting services are not available. The Velma Denning Room is closed.
January 6-10: (first week of winter quarter): No walk-in hours. Please contact us with your your questions. The Velma Denning Room hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; Closed Sat/Sun
January 13-March 13: Walk-in hours (Monday -Thursday): 1-3pm-Finding & Getting Data; 3-5pm, Selecting & Using Software

Consulting takes place in The Velma Denning Room, located on the first floor of the Green Library Bing Wing.
