Alexander (Zan) Feild is a Volunteer Assistant Coach who has been with Stanford Squash since 2001. He has worked as an Athletics staff PE class instructor, team coach and squash steering group committee member. Zan has been instrumental in evolving the squash program through his work on obtaining the new squash facility, in hiring Mark Talbott and through his on-court coaching. Zan was named both a prestigious National Science Foundation Fellow and a Stanford University Fellow while earning a MS in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford. Zan is a Senior Staff Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems where he designs satellites and is recognized as an industry expert in satellite thermal design.
