Alexander (Zan) Feild is a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the men's and women's teams. Zan has been with the Stanford Squash program since 2001 where he has worked as an Athletics staff instructor, coach and steering group committee member. Aside from his die-hard enthusiasm, Zan possesses a natural teaching ability and has taught more than 100 players. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Zan came to Stanford for graduate school. Zan has a BS Mechanical Engineering with University Honors from Carnegie-Mellon University and a MS Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University where he was named both a prestigious National Science Foundation Fellow and a Stanford University Fellow. Zan is a senior staff engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems where he designs satellites.
