Arrillaga Recreation Center Update

The seven new ASB squash courts (including one three-wall exhibition court) in the new Arrillaga Family Recreation Center are nearly complete! The facility's opening date has not been set, but should occur by the start of fall quarter. You can follow the construction progress here.

Women's Nationals Recap

Men's Team Nationals

Coming into Nationals the Men's team ranked #19, giving them the #3 seed in the C division. In the first round they encountered a strong #22 Tufts team and and lost 7-2, leaving them with a tough match against Conn College - a team which had defeated Stanford 5-4 earlier in the year. The Stanford men, however, defeated Conn College by a score of 6-3 the next morning.

This left another showdown in the consolation finals between the two highest ranked club teams in the nation - Denison and Stanford. After several close matches, Stanford pulled out a 5-4 victory to finish the season ranked #20 and, for the first time, as the best club team in the nation. Thanks to all the alumni and parents for their support.

Women's Team Nationals

Seeded fourth in the C Division, the women's team won their first round match against #21 Connecticut College 6-3 before losing to the eventual C Division champion #17 Middlebury 8-1. They then won their final match over #23 Franklin & Marshall by a score of 5-4 to finish the season ranked an impressive #19. Congratulations!
