We are pleased to invite you to participate in Stanford’s annual Edgie Scott Memorial Tournament. Edgie Scott was a dear friend of Stanford Squash who died in 2004. Please read more about him here.

DATE AND FORMAT
Tournament play will begin Friday February 9th at 5:30pm. Matches will continue Saturday and Sunday February 10th and 11th. All divisions will be either a regular draw with feed-in consolation or round-robin format. Each player is guaranteed 3 matches. Players must be available to play throughout the weekend in order to facilitate scheduling.
Entry deadline is Monday February 5th, 2006. First round matches will be posted on the Stanford Squash website the night of February 7th. All first round match times are final once posted on the website. No changes will be allowed after posting.
Note: The Organizers have the right to restrict or combine draws if needed. This is NOT a USSRA sanctioned event. Protective eyewear and non-marking shoes are mandatory. In addition, winners must referee the next match on the court.

COST
Cost is $30, $20 for Stanford students/Juniors. Entry fee includes tourney t-shirt. No food provided. Please make sure to send a check payable to Stanford Squash to the address above. No refunds will be given after the entry deadline.
PRIZES/DISCOUNTS
There will be plaques for consolation winner, main draw winner and main draw finalist and plaques for round robin winner and runner-up. There will also be some Prince goodies to give out.
In addition, Pro Tennis (which also has loads of squash gear) has agreed to provide all the players with 15% off on all stringing, gripping and merchandise during tournament weekend. Pro Tennis is located at 648 Menlo Ave # 1, Menlo Park, 94025.
RESTRINGING SERVICE
Pro tennis has kindly agreed to set up a discounted restringing service for players whose racquets break during match play. They can be left with the tournament organizer and picked up the next morning.
