Microfab Shop
The Microfab Shop, which is located mostly within the Flexible Cleanroom, is a service center which provides thin film deposition by evaporation and sputtering. It also provides related technical support work such as design and fabrication of special mounting fixtures, bonding fixtures, prototype device fabrication, mold-making, casting, bonding, precision cleaning, etc. All work done in the Microfab Shop is done on an hourly basis, and charged to the associated PTA account number.
