International Ob-Gyn Panel on 3/23/11

Host a panel of Ob-Gyn faculty from Stanford/UCSF that have spent time doing work abroad and currently have projects in other countries such as Dr. Bertha Chen (Eritrea) and Dr. Paul Blumenthal (Burma, Ethiopia).

Reproductive Technologies Dinner on 2/23/11

Dr. Lynn Westphal of Stanford's Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility as well as hopefully additional faculty/residents will present information on procedures, cost, and therapy for freezing unfertilized egg to educate students on current options. Would like to co-sponsor with MSFC (as it was done last year).

Doula and Midwife Event on 1/26/11

Come and discuss with doulas and midwives, who give many women an alternative to hospital deliveries. Students interested in a career in obstetrics and gynecology may be interested in knowing the alternatives and demystifying myths and learn how different aspects of delivery must work together to meet delivery needs.

OB/GYN SMS4+ Residency Event on 11/17/10

For all students interested in obstetrics and gynecology, in particular those applying for residency - come discuss with Dr. Mary Jacobson (Residency Director of Ob/Gyn Department) information on applying to an OB/Gyn residency and how to succeed in the OB/Gyn rotation (plan to invite other faculty in the Ob-Gyn department as well such as Dr. Paul Blumenthal)
