Stanford Makes Strong Showing at 2007 AAJ West Coast Regional Tournament

Two teams from Stanford competed in the 2007 AAJ STAC West Coast Regional Tournament, performing admirably. One team reached the semi-final round after winning each of its first three trials. The other team overcame its lack of experience to put on three strong trials.

Congratulations to Alisha Beltramo, Amanda Bonn, Joe Larson, and Ben Ratner for earning a spot in the semi-final round. The team ended the first three trials with more points than any other team in the field of 16. The team put on an excellent trial during semi-finals and narrowly lost to Pepperdine, which fielded the eventual tournament champion. Congratulations also to Andrew Bruck, Nancy Glass, Marcos Rosales, and Crystal Tindell, who represented Stanford with remarkable talent. These strong efforts would have been impossible without the invaluable support of Jeremy Presser and Tony Lopez.
