Submission Guidelines
To fulfill the journal’s interdisciplinary mission, a legal or policy scholar and a scientist should coauthor all submitted articles.
All submitted articles:
- have a limit of 5000 words
- follow bluebook citation format
- Note that for scientific sources, this requires a page number in addition to the traditional information
- all articles must include an abstract of no more than 300 words that concisely states the goals, main arguments, principal results, and implications of the research
Deadlines
Authors seeking publication in the Spring 2009 issue are encouraged to submit by February 15th.
Submission
Articles should be submitted as email attachments in Microsoft Word format to the Article Review Chair (Malin Pinsky) at SJLSPsubmissions@gmail.com.
In the cover letter, please list at least 3 qualified peer reviewers who have no close personal or working relationships with the authors. This list should include both scientific and legal scholars.
