article submissions

Email your human rights-related articles to hrsubmissions@lists.stanford.edu. Submissions should be 500-2000 words; articles written from in-depth study or personal experience are preferred. All submissions are judged anonymously and objectively.

Six Degrees does not solicit nor write articles. We feel that the question of what constitutes a human rights violation is open, and we leave it up to the Stanford community to help us publish intellectually and geographically diverse information.

meetings

Interested in helping out? Come to our open meetings to learn how else you can get involved with Six Degrees. Meetings are usually at 9pm on Sundays in the LGBT center (the second floor of the Old Firetruck House). Show up if you're interested!

Involvement can vary to fit your schedule; students can work on a variety of projects, including helping to select articles, working as a regional director, on design and layout, as a copy editor, a webmaster, a submissions chief, the public relations director, and more.

wanted: layout and design editors

If you have had experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, or would like to learn, we'd love to have you on-board with our production team! Please contact Julie Len or come to a Sunday meeting.
