Information about CIfAR/SITP/KIPAC Mar.'08 Conference


During March 5-9, 2008, there will be a CIfAR/SITP/KIPAC conference. The meeting will take place at the Kavli auditorium at KIPAC. (CIfAR is a Canadian Cosmology & Gravity Program, KIPAC is Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology at Stanford and SITP is Stanford Institute of Theoretical Physics). The funding for the conference was provided by CIfAR, SITP and FQXi (Foundational Questions in Physics & Cosmology http://www.fqxi.org/).

The meeting will be held in the Kavli Auditorium (Building 51 on map)
which is within walking distance from the Stanford Guest House (Building

In conjunction with the annual CIfAR meeting at Stanford, we will also celebrate Andrei Linde's 60th birthday.

Coffee and Lunches: Badged official participants will have catered coffee breaks and lunches. Coffee breaks and lunches for those without badges who audit some of the talks will have to be at the SLAC cafeteria close to the Kavli auditorium or at the Quadrus Cafe at the Quadrus Conference Center across the street from SLAC.
