Please vote Yes for SIAS Special Fees. Every dollar goes toward financially supporting our award-winning team members, and our team would not be able to compete without Special Fees.

The Society for International Affairs at Stanford (SIAS) is a student-run organization devoted to providing a community and an extracurricular outlet for students interested in international relations. We are the umbrella organization for several programs and groups, including the travelling Model United Nations team, which represents Stanford at conferences internationally and has won numerous awards, including the Best Delegation award at UCLA and UCSB, and the Stanford Model UN Conference we put on for high school students in the fall, which expanded by 33% this year. We provide financial aid to all to compete on behalf of Stanford, and also bring students free of charge to Stanford campus to learn about international affairs and debate.

SIAS also puts on events for the campus community at large, such as a speaker series. Although our membership is comprised primarily of undergraduate social science majors, we have members from disciplines from across the university and encourage everyone to get involved. SIAS offers all Stanford undergraduates the opportunity to develop their public speaking and research skills and further interests in history, political science and international affairs
